Meet the founder
Abby White is the founder of Blossom Intelligence and a qualified horticultural agronomist with a long-standing passion for almond production. From the very beginning of her career, Abby has been driven by a desire to understand how orchards truly perform in the field — not just in theory, but in practice, season after season.
Abby’s agronomy foundation was shaped across almonds, vegetables, stone fruit and broad-acre systems, giving her a strong technical base in crop nutrition, irrigation management, pest and disease programs, and data-driven decision making. Her time as Technical Manager for a large almond operation in Sunraysia saw her responsible for fertiliser and spray programs across multiple orchards, water use and soil profiling, pruning strategies, orchard development, post-harvest drying systems, and input purchasing — experience that continues to inform her practical, systems-based approach today.
Alongside her agronomy career, Abby stepped into business ownership as Director of White Houses and Carpentry, leading a growing team while managing finance, cashflow, payroll, marketing, project scheduling and client relationships. This period added a crucial layer to her skill set: a deep understanding of how technical decisions intersect with people, profitability, time and long-term sustainability.
As her family grew, Abby intentionally stepped back from full-time consulting — not away from the industry, but into a season of growth that strengthened her leadership, perspective and strategic thinking. From 2026 onward, almond production consultancy once again takes centre stage, supported by a broader view of business, resilience and long-term planning.
Blossom Intelligence was created to bridge the gap between agronomy knowledge and confident decision-making — empowering growers, managers and industry professionals with clear frameworks, practical insights and systems they can trust. Abby brings a calm, considered and commercially aware approach to almond agronomy, grounded in real orchards, real data and real outcomes.
